Annual Memory Walk

Share Southern Vermont, Inc. is one of nearly 100 Share groups across the country, many of which host an annual Walk for Hope and Remembrance. SSV is a 501 c 3, not-for-profit organization, fully supported by donations. Although the annual memory walk is one of SSV’s two community service, registration free, events; the generosity of participant’s hearts always raises a substantial sum. All proceeds allow SSV to continue supporting grieving families in Southern Vermont and New Hampshire.

In the spring of 2009 SSV hosted it’s first annual Walk for Hope and Remembrance along the Toonerville Trail in Springfield, Vermont.  Follow the links below for detailed information and pictures from past events.

If you are new to your grieving journey and would like an email reminder as the next walk appraches, please contact us.

Each step, little or big, is a step into healing.

The mission of Share Pregnancy and Infant Loss Support, Inc. is to serve those whose lives are touched by the tragic death of a baby through pregnancy loss, stillbirth, infant death or when making a difficult decision.

At Share, bereaved parents find comfort in friendship, strength in shared experiences and hope for healing and happiness. Share provides bereavement education and training to professionals, clergy and funeral directors. All information packets, correspondence, and support are free of charge to bereaved parents.

Families are extended an open invitation to attend our grief and loss support group the 2nd Wednesday of each month and/or our PALS: Pregnancy / Parenting After Loss support group the 3rd Tuesday of each month. Both meet in the Community Room of the Whiting Library in Chester, Vermont and are accessible via a Skype connection.

For more information about the next meeting date, volunteer or if you need support through grief, please email us at sharesouthernvermont@gmail.com.
